These days there are many choices of travel you can take to Spain. Obvoiusly flights are the most popular and cheapest way of getting there with so many low cost airlines but there are also two ferry companies that go direct from England to Spain overnight, One from Plymouth to Santander and the other from Portsmouth to Bilbao thiS is great for taking your car and /or dog! Or you can cross the English channel by tunnel or ferry and drive through France.


Many people think driving through France is a good cheap way of getting to Spain but that can be a misconception as you can't or wouldn't want to drive all that way in one day so you will need to pay to stay overnight somewhere, also there are many toll roads, some quite expensive then the cost of your fuel all that way not cheap either.
